. About .

Educated at Les Gobelins photography school in Paris, I produced a few portraits for newspapers (Le Monde, Libération, Numero...) before devoting myself to landscape photography.

Forêt(s) photographies are created in order to create a certain confusion, in order to question the relationship between image and imagination, visible and invisible, real and appearance. To create these photographs I use reflection and therefore the glass. Through it, I have the feeling of reconnecting with this invisible that intrigues me.

At the origin of my practice is the observation of everyday life, an affinity and an interest in surrealism. It is by questioning what constitutes the different layers of reality and image that my approach can be summarized. What is the part of objectivity and subjectivity? Photography has for me a power of reflection, a poetic and playful reflection.

The artists who inspire me are those who experiment and question the medium and our relationship to reality: Patrick Bailly-Maître-Grand, Barbara Probst, Sophia Zulik, Georges Rousse and many others.
